NatWest and Giki runner-up in Engagement and Behaviour Change Initiative of the Year

Edie Awards 2022 Finalist

We’re delighted to share that the sustainability campaign delivered by our partners, NatWest Group, has been named one of the runners-up in the Employee Engagement and Behaviour Change Initiative category the edie Sustainability Leadership Awards.

The awards recognise and reward the incredible people, projects and partnerships that are transforming business for good, and championing bold and brilliant climate action

The NatWest Group uses the Giki Zero Pro programme as an important part of their broader sustainability strategy to embed climate change and sustainability into the culture and decision making across the bank. Through Giki, 60,000 employees can now learn what they can do about climate change, better understand and improve their own personal carbon footprints, and learn more about sustainability through the lens of their own lifestyles.

Giki has raised awareness of sustainability issues and demonstrably led to employee’s environmental improvements across the whole organisation

Dominic Brown, Climate Change Programme Manager, NatWest

The campaign has been running since September 2021 and has been highly successful, with high engagement rates and impact measured across carbon-cutting, water and land savings, and single-use plastic reductions. As well as being recognised by edie, the campaign has previously won at the BusinessGreen Leaders awards.

NatWest Group also detail employee engagement with Giki as part of their 2021 Climate Disclosure report (TCFD), showing how important employees are in delivering broader climate goals and objectives.

This is fantastic recognition of truly impactful work and everyone at Giki is so excited on behalf of the Sustainable Network Futures team at NatWest Group.
