We’re pleased to share that the sustainability campaign delivered by our partners, NatWest Group, has won in the Employee Engagement Campaign of the Year category at this year’s BusinessGreen Leaders awards.
The awards showcase and celebrate the best of the UK’s green economy and are the largest and most prestigious green business awards in the UK.
Giki helped NatWest Group mobilise colleagues across the bank to Think Carbon and Cut Carbon together. The campaign was launched by the bank’s Sustainable Futures Network, a bank-wide employee network.
The Giki Zero programme links with the banks overarching climate ambition, which includes embedding climate into the culture and decision making. Through Giki, 60,000 employees can now become aware of how they can positively impact their personal carbon footprint and access solutions tailored to their lifestyles.
The campaign has been running since September 2021 and has been highly successful, with high engagement rates and impact measured across carbon-cutting, water and land savings, and single-use plastic reductions.
This is fantastic recognition of truly impactful work and everyone at Giki is so excited on behalf of the Sustainable Network Futures team at NatWest Group.
