Auto Trader launch Giki Zero Pro to make sustainability easy and accessible

As the UK’s largest automotive marketplace, Auto Trader strive to play a positive role in making a difference to their people, communities, and the industries they are part of.

Not only are they working to reduce their own emissions to net zero but also use their capabilities and voice to influence the automotive and technology industries to support the urgent action required to tackle the climate crisis, which is why we are very excited to be working with them.

Over the coming months, Auto Trader will be rolling out Giki Zero Pro, identifying personal carbon footprints, then ways we can reduce them through 150+ sustainability steps to fit every lifestyle.

Giki will continue the work with Auto Trader to co-create a series of challenges, and competitions to drive engagement throughout the year, as well as joining our live events, to bring sustainability thinking into business decision-making, and drive further innovative thinking.

We want to inspire our entire workforce to take-part in our environmental commitments. Our partnership with Giki offers a brilliant way to calculate your individual carbon footprint and reduce it.

It’s sustainability made easy and accessible to everybody in our business

Christos Tsaprounis, People and Culture Director

The team at Giki has been so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. We’ve incorporated it into our Carbon Literacy training, and the huge library of steps means people have plenty of inspiration.

The ready-to-use campaigns and information available will make it so much easier to spread the knowledge around the business.

David Williams – Sustainability Network Lead

Auto Trader has achieved the Gold Carbon Literate Organisation accreditation from the Carbon Literacy Project (CLP). The accreditation means that more than 50% of the company’s 1,000 staff members have completed carbon literacy training. Giki is the continual action for carbon literacy at the organisation for their people.

We can’t wait to see what the team does next!
